My name is Joyce and I was born in Holland.

For 20 years I have studied various forms of Meditative Dance with many different teachers all over the world, developing a personal method of teaching and managing dance in depth, which I apply as therapy and spiritual research.

The teachers who inspired me the most were:
- Hilda Maria Lander whom I studied with for many years and recently completed a two year course with on Connecting energy effects between Meditative Dance, Meditation Zen, Icon Meditation, Qi Gong and Gestures, and
- Anastasia Geng for Bach Flower Dance.
These two teachers have been my major source of inspiration with their great example of humility and simplicity, without frills. They revealed to me the importance of the individual and taught me how to create a free space for each participant.

- My thanks too to my teacher Nanni Kloke with her enthusiasm and her wonderful dances.

At the moment I am researching into Dance as Prayer and the inclusion of Dance in Liturgy.

My future projects include.
- Meetings of meditative dance and movement in two important Italian hospitals
- Project to help and rehabilitate young female victims of modern slavery who have been saved from forced prostitution.

I am the author of the book "Nella danza sei tu" (You are in the dance) - spirituality and therapy in Meditative Dance, published by Il Segno dei Gabrielli Editori.
I am too the founder and president of the Italian Association of Bachflowerdances.

I concluded the training of Heilpraktiker/natural medicine in Germany and Holland and I am a member of the Dutch Naturopath Association. I studied with Roy Martina for Neuro emotional Integration and concluded the training of Dance therapy in Holland with the Psychiatrist Charlotte Querido .
I am a Dance pedagogue and a researcher into the use of Meditative Dance in the treatment of bereavement and, as such, am a member of the association.
